It is always good to see a presentation from the real heroes at MS Dynamics AX. One of my heroes is Peter Villadsen.
He is always able to tell me something about X++, that I was not aware of, even after using this language for more than 10 years.
The next picture is Peter in action at the convergence 2012 in Houston.

The story Peter told was about, ‘Why all X++ changes in AX 2012 were needed’. It is simple; we have to get in line with .Net world.
So a lot of changes have happened in the inheritance behavior. The language X++ has become stricter.
The next picture shows restriction on parameter overloading we did in the past.
Also a demo of making your own attribute classes was one of his examples.
