Ok for those of you expecting me to post a video of the senior leadership team doing karaoke to the Jackson Five I am sorry to disappoint you but do you feel it? In January this year we highlighted some of the exciting new capabilities coming in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, including its unique model driven layered architecture, deep interoperability with key Microsoft technologies, and pre-built capabilities for five industries. We also talked about how our strategic focus on these areas would enables ISVs to bring solutions to market faster, lower their product life-cycle investment, allow them to focus on their core area of expertise, and expand their market opportunities.

ISV reception to the new Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 has been extremely positive with more than 100 partners participating in various pre-release adoption programs. Today, we're excited to say that another global ISV has come on board. Harris Corporation, an international communications and information technology company, joins ISVs including Aldata, GFI Infogen Systems, LexisNexis and Tyler Technologies, who are also developing vertical solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics AX, for the retail, public sector, legal and manufacturing industries, respectively. In a press release today, Harris announced that it will "utilize Microsoft Dynamics AX to address business process and collaboration needs in the areas of finance and production" and that "the new solutions will support integration to the Harris® Enterprise Agency SuiteTM (EAS) for media management, as well as to leading third-party media-buying platforms." Functionality such as strong accounting and project costing, ease of deployment and customization, the interoperability with other Microsoft technologies, and a foundation that provides multi-language, multi-currency, multi-company support, are all reasons why Harris decided to sign-up with Microsoft and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. This is EXACTLY the type of partnership that will greatly benefit our customers, by supporting our commitment to delivering robust vertical solutions and I look forward to more ISVs "feeling it" together with us.
