One of the added features of Ax2009 is the improved AOT Query.
 
AOT Query objects can now be dragged and dropped onto a form's datasource, at which point datasources corresponding to the tables in the Query will be automatically added to the Form, with the proper joins and links. When doing this, a reference to that Form will be inserted under the AOT Query object, under a new node called 'Dependant Objects'. This way you can know where a particular Query is used. Queries now support 'Composite Queries', I haven't played with that much yet, but it seems to make possible combining Queries together by drag and drop.
 
Neat, but not revolutionary, it was already possible to use AOT Queries on forms back since Ax 2.5 at least, this makes it much more developer friendly though.
 
The latest build (459) is definitely more stable, but I wouldn't call it perfect still.

Класс! Открыл для себя эту функциональность лишь сегодня. Был приятно удивлён возможностью создания датасурсов формы на основе AOT/Query. Вот уж действительно "Век живи - век учись"

Кто-нибудь знает стандартные формы сделанные по такой технологии? Пытался найти такие формы через посик по объектом AOT, но в списке свойств узлов, доступных для поиска отсутствует свойство "Query"

Интересно. Получается DataSource на основе Query в стандарте используют только для форм с WindowType ListPage. Это просто совпадение или есть какие-то ньюансы?
