You experience issues when you run the "Physical inventory by inventory dimension" report and the "Physical inventory by item group" report in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

SYMPTOMS
When you run the "Physical inventory by inventory dimension" report and the "Physical inventory by item group" report in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, you experience the following issues:
• If you backdate the reports to a date before the item was created for the first in, first out (FIFO) items, physical value adjustments are incorrectly calculated. The physical value adjustments that are posted in the future period are not reversed in the reports. These amounts are reflected in the posted physical value and in the inventory value in the reports. Therefore, even though no item exists, the reports show data.
• You experience performance issue when you run the "Physical inventory by item group" report for items that contains combination cost prices.
• If there are physical adjustments by changing the active cost price for a standard cost item, physical value adjustments are incorrectly calculated when you backdate the reports to a date before the item was created for standard cost items.
• When you run the "Physical inventory by item group" report, the report shows the known financial difference and the estimated inventory values for the items that have no transactions related.
• The physical return adjustment for the standard cost item is incorrectly calculated when you run the reports.
• The "Physical inventory by inventory dimension" report shows incorrect values if the quantity is zero and the report is run on the date before the inventory closing date.
• When you run the "Physical inventory by inventory dimension" report and the "Physical inventory by item group" report for the same item, the reports show different values.
